In 2017, Engis Corporation began a new initiative to become a FANUC Robotics Authorized System Integrator to better serve the ever-increasing automated system machinery side of the business. As business is increasing in all industries, and the available pool of available candidates continues to shrink, Engis customers are requiring innovative methods by which to maintain and service current business and customers and support increasing business, many times across multiple shifts. The increasing reliance on automated systems and robotics to support customer requirements is a perfect technological match for Engis Corporation. It is drawing from decades of machinery design/build and a deep pool of Engineering and Research resources Engis has produced application-specific automation systems for all industries served over its history. The new initiative is to offer even further advanced automation systems based upon FANUC Robotics platforms.

Various gauging packages are available for use with ENGIS Bore Finishing Systems. These include both process and post process gauging, with full data collection, SPC calculations, graphs and charts. Standard features that are gauged include bore size, ovality, taper, straightness, concentricity, perpendicularity, parallelism, as well as auxiliary functions.
