It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Robert E. Reid, former President and long time employee of Engis Corporation at Wheeling, Illinois. Bob had been employed at the company for over 50 years and led the company from being a small domestic diamond tool company to the global entity it is today. Recently Bob stepped down as President to assume the important role of Executive Advisor. In that capacity he continued to lend us his experience and good advice and participate in many of the company's activities. His influence spanned the globe as Engis activities expanded.

He will be sorely missed and remembered fondly by all of us who knew him as a determined and skilled coworker who always had the best interest of Engis foremost in mind. He was a dear friend and we will miss the support and encouragement that he so freely shared.
